Equitable design is going beyond good intentions.
A few years ago, I got the opportunity to speak at Afro-tech Conference on the importance of building with Equity frameworks within teams and projects. I try and ask this during the discovery phase: "How might we actively avoid causing harmful unintended consequences with our products and systems.
